Crime Scence Investigator ?

So I'm going into my 3rd year of High School in the fall and I want to start looking at colleges. I am pretty sure I want to be in criminal justice, however I like the scientific part behind it. What would you call someone who goes to a crime scene and bags evidence, takes photographs of bodies / evidence. Checksfor footprints or fingerprints. Trajectory technology. So on nd so forth. If possible prognostication and diagnostication. Thanks guys
