Help me pleasee!! boys or girls idc lol!! really confused and need some advice?

i like this kid a lot...hes really nice and stuff. But, im quiet and he doesnt know i like him at all. And so ive liked him for a while now and a few weeks ago i heard him tell someone else he has a gf =[. does that mean i cant like him anymore cause thatd be hard? and how do i know if he still has a gf? he doesnt have a fb or myspace. and i cant find his sn. Is there anyway to find his sn if i know part of it? I dont wanna ask a friend for it bc i dont want anyone to know. Also, how do i get him to like me IF he doesnt have a gf (i dont wanna get involved or start trouble if he has one)!! i am fourteen and in 8th grade. thankss so much. Im soo confused
