How is it that France rejected their monarchy but England was able to hold on to theirs?

France probably got tired of having a monarch, so they rebelled until the monarch no longer had a crown. England did not mind having a crown, but they wanted more freedom and less corruption, so they came up with a Prime Minister, who has most of the power in England. The crown gave in, and allowed for there to be a Prime Minister, and allowed the Prime Minister to hold most of the power that the crown used to have. Thus, the crown was saved from loosing his crown.
