I might be held responsible for cost if she does get in a bad wreck?

I have a friend from the Czech Republic working in the states for a year. I have come across a good deal on a car for her drive while she is here. Can she title the car in her own name or will I have to title it in my name? Can she get vehicle insurance on her own or will I have to add the car to my policy, I have 3 kids’ so I really don’t want to add her to my policy just in case she does get in a wreck, and I am worried about titling the car in my name because I might be held responsible for cost if she does get in a bad wreck.
