Is time travel possible?

Is it possible? From my understanding, it is not possible because if you go back in time in the past and kill your self as a baby and go back in the present then how can yo have been born? Sir Isaac Newton said that it is not possible and Albert Einstein first didn't think that it is possible until Kurt Godel pointed out that it is possible. Furthermore, if it is possible and we go back in the past just what will happen if we saw the Lord Jesus Christ wouldn't there be paradoxes? Therefore, time travel is not possible, but what do you think?
