Our generation is full of failures, isn't it?

I'm year 9 at school and I walk down the corridor and I see people talking about the they had last night, and how they got so heavily drunk last night they ended up sleeping on a park bench. When i'm in lessons I see people with their heads on the table and not doing any work. When i go out for break or lunch I see people smoking cigarettes and putting layers and layers of make up on because they think their appearance is more important then their education. When they are smoking they think it's cool, when someone is smart the abuse them for being 'nerds'. All this and my year is just aged 13/14.I just see so many people with no motivation at all. Does anyone else agree with me?
