I thought i knew how he felt now im not sure HELP!!!!!!?

so my friend (a girl) invited me to go to the movies and she invited 2 guys. one shes dealing with and the other for me. im used to being like her wing man :P but so the guy was pretty sweet and we hu and we decided we would hang out again :) so he ended up going away for the march break but didnt tell me bout it even though he said we would chill during the break :/ then we finally hung out but he came sooooo late like over an hour late. i dont know why i waited so long. he got kinda lost because he moved here recently. so we saw a movie and hu again and i was sittin in his lap and at the end we were walking holding hands so i thought he must like me sorta thing. the only problem is that i havent heard from him at all after that. i've texted him. asked if he wants to go out tomorrow w my friend (the one from before) and the her guy. i haven't heard back from him. did i do soemthing wrong? does he like me? i thought he did and so did my friend and her guy (btw her guy and 'mine' and close friends) but now im not sure :/ what should i do? and i really do like him and id wanna be his gf. what should i do?
